July 2, 2012 - Cross Keys to organize the inaugural Mediterranean Maritime Forum


Cross Keys d.o.o., a subsidiary of Cross Keys Group Pte Ltd, has confirmed the dates for the inaugural Mediterranean Maritime Forum.


The 3-day event is to be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 12-14 June, 2013.


The main purpose of the Forum is to provide the industry with a formidable platform for analyzing the current situation, as well as for providing insights into the industry's future.


Mr Davor Belič, managing director of Cross Keys d.o.o., commented: "We believe this event will put the spotlight on Croatia's maritime industry, and look forward to welcoming a large number of overseas delegates to the Forum. It is no coincidence that we are holding this event in Dubrovnik, as we chose the location for its extremely rich maritime history and tradition in this part of the world."



May 22, 2012 - Cross Keys Group to develop activities for Croatian maritime sector.


On 22 May 2012, Cross Keys Group met with Mr Radimir Čačić, Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy, to discuss strategies for the promotion and invigoration of maritime industries in Croatia.


Mr Oleg Micevic, the managing director of Cross Keys Group, commented: "We believe that the maritime sector in Croatia represents a brilliant investment opportunity even in these times of shipping decline and worldwide recession. The combination of its highly knowledgeable, experienced workforce and its strategic location is one that will see the emergence of new horizons for the country's enterprises in this field, especially with Croatia's upcoming accession into the European Union. However, there are still structural reforms that the country's maritime sector needs to undertake in order to maximize its potential. Cross Keys is prepared to initiate a range of activities that will make Croatia's maritime sector a very attractive investment proposition."


The company will be working closely with the Croatian government in order to organize a range of activities to promote and engage the maritime sector. These include events like the inaugural Mediterranean Maritime Forum, to be held in June 2013.



April 23, 2012 - Credit Analyst joins Cross Keys Group


Cross Keys Group is pleased to welcome Justin Chan, who has been appointed to the position of Credit Analyst as of April 23, 2012.


Justin graduated from New York University in May 2011 with a degree in Economics.


In his capacity, Justin will assist the team at Cross Keys in the areas of risk management, and credit assessment.



April 16, 2012 - Rosneft Marine awards consulting contract to Cross Keys Group


Cross Keys Group has been awarded a contract with Rosneft Marine for its assistance in the development of Rosneft's first full quality management standard in the port of Nakhodka (RNQMBS).


Signed off in April 2012, the project is a continuation of Rosneft's commitment to world-class standards in bunker delivery. Cross Keys Group, in cooperation with Lloyd's Register, has been at the forefront of the implementation of the Quality Management for Bunker Supply Chains standard.


Mr Oleg Micevic, managing director of Cross Keys Group, commented: "We are pleased to have won this consultancy contract, and will work very closely with all involved parties to develop the RNQMBS in accordance with world standards."


The implementation of the RNQMBS aims to further Rosneft's commitment to ensure a reliable, consistent supply of bunker fuel that is delivered to clients at all ports under the most stringent quality standards available in the world.



April 2, 2012 - Cross Keys Group to work with Croatia's Ports


In March 2012, Cross Keys Group met with the management of Luka Ploce and Luka Rijeka, operators of the ports of Ploce and Rijeka in Croatia.


The company was invited to look at plans for the Port's development, and will work with Luka Ploce to promote and enhance the Port's activities and profile in the region.


Mr Oleg Micevic, Managing Director of Cross Keys Group, commented: "It is our honour to have been invited to meet with the management of Croatia's ports as consultants. We hope to work closely with their respective teams in order to elevate these ports to world-class standards."



January 15, 2012 - Cross Keys opens in Zagreb


Cross Keys d.o.o., a sister company of Cross Keys Group, has been established as a marketing consultancy to cater to the needs of the Mediterranean maritime industry. Started on November 1, 2011, the company is based in Zagreb, Croatia.


Mr Davor Belič has been appointed to the position of managing director at Cross Keys d.o.o., where he will oversee the company's activities and further its presence in Europe.
